Gardai are to charge a third person in connection with the fire at the International Protection Centre, George’s Street, Drogheda on October 31 last.
The man in his twenties was arrested on Monday, November 17, has now been charged in relation to the incident and will appear at Drogheda District Court this afternoon.
The second man arrested who is in his forties remains in Garda custody.
Gardai continue to appeal to anyone who has information about this serious incident to contact them.
They said investigations are ongoing.
