Its April and that means that Ann Noone and the rest of the crew who organise the Duleek 10K Cystic Fibrosis Remembrance run/walk (CF10K) are getting very excited, and busy, ahead of the event which takes place on the 25th.
Over the past eight years this event has raised more than €168,000 for the CF cause but they’re looking for your help to keep the momentum going and get them well over the €200,000K!
“This year we are running the event in collaboration with Cystic Fibrosis Ireland who will be sending out the packs to your address rather than picking them up on the day” Ann said.
This event is aimed at people of all fitness levels and is suitable for runners and walkers alike.
The event has taken place every year since 2013 to remember and celebrate the lives of cousins Cathy O’Brien and Kelley Noone and all friends and families touched by Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
The aim is to increase public awareness about CF and to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
No matter where you are in the world, from the Australian outback to the Bronx you can still take part in the Duleek Cystic Fibrosis 10k Virtual run/walk.
Just complete a 10km route of your choice, share photos on your social media, tag Duleek CF10K in your post and help raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.
