A €2m refurbishment project that has recently commenced at the Health Centre in Castlebellingham is expected to be completed in 15 months’ time.
In a written response to a question from Deputy Fergus O’Dowd, an HSE spokesperson said that it is expected that primary care services should commence at the newly extended property in the third quarter of 2023.
The estimated cost of this project is €2 million.
Once fully operational, the following range of services will be available from Castlebellingham Health Centre:
General Practice
Public Health Nursing:
Physiotherapy
Occupational Therapy
Speech and Language Therapy
Psychology;
Dietetics;
Social Work.
