“My Car, My Way” – Magic, Motors and Music on Laurence Street this Saturday
Drogheda’s Motor Traders will be setting out their stalls in Laurence Street this Saturday, October 22nd,(10AM – 5PM) for the twelfth Drogheda Motor Show displaying the latest in cars with the historic Laurence’s Gate providing the perfect backdrop.
The theme for this year’s Motor Show is “My Car, My Way” celebrating not only the huge range of cars available but also the myriad of different styles that they come in.
These days motoring is becoming more about fun and this is certainly reflected in the programme of the 2022 Drogheda Motor Show which will include not only dancing in the Street from the very talented Kid Kast but magic too from Drogheda’s very popular “Martin the Magician”.
Drogheda’s Comhaltas musicians will be working their own brand of magic and Jo Bubbles will be making the day even more magical for the younger visitors to the Motor Show and the Drogheda Cycling Group will also be there to underline the fact that there are all types of road users out there.
Cars are of course centre stage for the whole day and this is a unique opportunity for car buyers to look at, sit in, smell and experience the features of a variety of different new 231 registered cars in the size that interests them – all in one location.
This year the Drogheda Motor Show is reaching out to the children in local schools to let their imaginations run wild in a colouring competition that could see them win a €100 “Love Drogheda” gift card for themselves and another for their school.
The Promotion is open to students of 1st to 6th classes at all primary schools in the Drogheda area, entries to be submitted with consent from a parent / guardian.
There are three prizes to be awarded (one in each category, i.e. 1st & 2nd class; 3rd & 4th class; and 5th & 6th class). A €100 Love Drogheda gift card will be presented to the winning student of each category and a €100 voucher will go to the respective schools. Total prize fund is worth €600.
