CONNECT Family Resource Centre received a welcome financial boost this week after a link up with Drogheda and District Chamber.
The Moneymore based group do wonderful work in the community and were selected as charity partners for the 2022 North East Business Awards, organised and hosted by the chamber at City North Hotel.
A cheque for €1,500 was presented to the centre as a result of the fundraiser.
“The chamber was delighted to partner with Connect for the awards event and we are glad they could benefit as a result” said Chamber President Hubert Murphy.
“We are intent on building on the community element in everything we do – from events like this to the Looking Good Drogheda campaign, which we are proud to be associated with.”
