Next Saturday, March 11, Mc Hugh’s venue Drogheda is hosting ‘Bonesfest’ which will be a great night of original heavy music, celebrating the life of Ronan ‘Bones’ Connor.
Bones passed away suddenly in March 2021 of sudden adult death syndrome and the gig is marking his second anniversary.
Bones was very loyal, easy going and a much loved guy, a great Dad, husband, son, brother and friend.
One of his passions from an early age was music and metal music in particular was an important part of his life. Bones was bass player with Raum Kingdom who are playing on the night with other original bands who he shared the stage with and loved.
Admission is €10, and all proceeds on the night will go to the Irish Heart Foundation. The first band takes to the stage at 7.00 pm
