The Louth Plein Air Art Festival 2023 takes place on July 8th in Carlingford and 9th in Clogherhead. Organised by Leonora Reilly, this is a very special weekend for artists to paint outdoors in the open air from 9:30am to 4:30 pm and at the end of the day to display that day’s art.
There are daily prizes and some exciting developments for the 2023 participants.
At the beginning of each day Leonora will give advice and tips based on her own experiences of painting outdoors.

Saturday 8 July 2023 in Carlingford Lana will talk about interior spaces and how our art fits.

- How to use colours to your advantage to create paintings for interiors
- Seasonal themes of colour in interiors
- Consideration of shapes, styles for a designer
- Problem solving for the Interior Designer and the Artist, a new perspective.
