Bus Éireann has announced that it is to sponsor the forthcoming Drogheda Pride festival which is taking place from the 19- 23 July.
“On behalf of Bus Éireann employees in Drogheda, we want to wish all of our customers and all of those celebrating a very happy Drogheda Pride 2023” a spokesperson said.
“Bus Éireann is committed to creating and maintaining a workplace where all are treated equally and all differences are welcomed and embraced.
“This year the company invested in a series of LGBTQ+ educational workshops for employees as well as launching internal diversity and inclusion champions.”
Expressing his thanks to Bus Éireann, Drogheda Pride Manager Peter James Nugent said: “We are delighted and super grateful for local businesses to get involved to sponsor Drogheda Pride.

Drogheda Pride will launch its annual festivities in McHughs Venue this Thursday, July 6th at 8pm. Everyone Is welcome.
“This year’s festival will be bigger and better than previous years with thousands expected to flock to Drogheda for the amazing event” said Peter.
“There’ll be Lots of amazing things happening including Drogheda Youth Pride & evening events hosted by Phil T Georgous and headline Act Blu Hydrangea from RuPaul’s Drag Race Winner.
