Over 40 winners and their families attended the Drogheda Credit Union Art Competition Awards Ceremony 2023 recently. The event which celebrates creativity and imagination was evident in the artwork hanging on the walls of St. Peters Parish Hall.
The theme for the annual Art Competition was ‘My Community and Me’. Drogheda Credit Union received over 1000 entries for the annual Art Competition, which was judged by Tony Conaghy, Droichead Arts Centre.
Tom Kiley, CEO, of Drogheda Credit Union said “The talent from the entrants is excellent. The Credit Union Art Competition is a fantastic platform to showcase creativity and imagination, which we are proud to support. Congratulations to all the first place winners who go forward to Chapter Level.”
The first prize winners of each category will move onto the next stage, Chapter Level, where they have a chance of getting through to National Level. Winners at National Level will feature on the Credit Union 2025 calendar.
Drogheda Credit Union would like to thank everyone who took part and of course the teachers who do so much every year to encourage their students and make the competition a success. A special thank you to Tony Conaghy who gives his time every year to do the extremely challenging job of judging.
