Irish Water is working in partnership with Louth County Council to carry out essential leak detection works throughout Drogheda this week.
As a result it is expected that many areas of the town may experience low water pressure and outages for short periods from 8:00pm on Wednesday 3 March until 8:00am on Thursday 4 March and from 8:00pm on Thursday 4 March until 8:00am on Friday 5 March.
Affected areas include: Platin Road, Ard Ri, Rosevale, Beamore Road, Meadow View, Platin Road, Elmwood, Silk Park, Halpin Terrace, Priests Lane, Rockville, Clinton Lane, Duleek Street, Old Corn Market Hill, Barrack Street, Mary Street, Sunnyside Cottages, Langorveen Park, Saint Marys Cottages, Poorhouse Lane, Cromwells Lane, Saint Marys Villas, Pine Hamlet, McGraths Lane, Railway Terrace, Wheaton Hall, West Street, Scholes Lane, Duke Street, Saint Peters Street, Shop Street, Father Connolly Way, Patricks Well Lane, Dominick Street, Stockwell Lane, Dyer Street, Palace Street, Saint Laurence Street, Harpurs Lane, Mayoralty Street, Bessexwell Lane, Drogheda and surrounding
It may take 2-3 hours for normal water supply to return to all customers following these works but it is important to continue to follow the HSE guidance on hand-washing.
