Temporary closure of Bridge Street (R215), Dundalk

LOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD

Section 75 Roads Act, 1993

(Roads Regulations 1994)

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close Bridge Street (R215), Dundalk, Co. Louth to vehicular traffic to facilitate Public Realm upgrade works.                                                                                              

The extent of the road closure will be from its junction with Patrick Street (LT20058) to its junction with Castletown Road (R934) 

The road closure will be from 8am Monday 12th August 2024 to 5pm on Friday 6th December 2024. Local & Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

Diversion Route :

Southbound traffic travelling on Linenhall Street (R-132) intending to continue Northbound onto Bridge Street (R-215) will be diverted left onto Bridge Street (R-215) then right onto Patrick Street (LT-20058), continue onto Philip Street (LT-20023), then turn right onto Castletown Road (R-934) to its junction with Bridge Street (R-215)

Northbound traffic travelling on Church Street (R-215) intending to continue Northbound onto Bridge Street (R-215) will be diverted left onto Patrick Street (LT-20058), continue onto Philip Street (LT-20023), then turn right onto Castletown Road (R-934) to its junction with Bridge Street (R-215)

Any person who wishes to object to any of the closures should lodge an objection in writing (envelope clearly marked “Road Closure objection”) to the undersigned not later than 4 pm on Friday 2nd August 2024.
