Drogheda Zine Fair, a local celebration of DIY publishing and counterculture collaboratively run by Rita Hynes in collaboration with the non-profit art collective, thirtythree.45, is taking place on Saturday 18th January 2025 in association with Droichead Arts Centre.
Situated in the main gallery of Droichead Arts Centre, visitors will have the chance to meet zinemakers from across Ireland, browse stalls and purchase zines in a welcoming and inclusive space.
Drogheda Zine Fair is free for both participants and attendees, building DIY community connections and promoting underground and punk zinemaking practices.
Thanks to additional support from Louth County Council, Drogheda Zine Fair excited to announce an events programme that will accompany their fair across three venues. These events include a pop-up exhibition at The Kiosk, artist talks with Boz Mugabe and Kelly Hoyne, and a zinemaking workshop with Kathryn McGrane.
