Sex, lies and a political cover up in Donore Rosnaree Drama Group’s latest production

Donore Rosnaree Drama Group’s latest production is the play “Out of Order” by Ray Cooney.

Featuring a wonderful local cast, the play runs in the Droichead Arts Centre in Stockwell Street from Tuesday 25th February till Saturday 1st March at 8.00pm.

Like many of Cooney’s works, Out of Order follows a lead character—a junior government minister—who finds himself in a compromising situation and must weave an elaborate web of lies to cover up his planned infidelity with a secretary.

His only ally in this chaos is his well-meaning, but increasingly tangled, private secretary George Point.

Set in a luxurious hotel suite, the plot becomes increasingly absurd, involving a malfunctioning sash window, a “dead body” that must be hidden, and a series of increasingly chaotic events that unfold over the course of two hours.

Tickets are available from www.droichead.com  or phone 041 -9833946. All funds raised go to local charities.
