Drogheda children have achieved great success in the Texaco Children’s Art Competition and today it has been announced that the 2023 competition is underway.
Last year six students from Drogheda won prizes in the Competition and a painting by 13-year-old Juthika Bhakta, from The Arthouse,pictured above, was included in this year’s Texaco Children’s Art Competition Calendar.
The Texaco Children’s Art Competition is now in its 69th year and widely acknowledged as the longest running arts sponsorship in Ireland.
The search to find the young artists who will excel in this year’s Texaco Children’s Art Competition has begun.
The closing date for entries is Tuesday, 28th February. Judging will take place in March with winners to be announced in April.
