The Ardee heat of the 2025 National Credit Union Schools Quiz, which was held in the Ardee Parish Centre yesterday February 10th, featured 29 teams from 15 different schools. Two competitions, one at U’11 and one at U’13, took place. The Quiz Master was Conor Thorne.
A large number of supporters, family and teachers, attended to support the teams from Ballapousta, Bellewstown, Collon, Darver, Dromiskin, Drumconrath, Donore, Duleek Girls, Heronstown, Louth Village, Monastery, Mount Hanover, Newtown, Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee, and Tallanstown schools.
The competition was extremely enjoyable with Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee taking the honours in the U’11 competition and Louth Village winners in the U’13 competition, with the runners up being Donore in the U’11 competition and Scoil Muire na Trocaire Ardee in the U’13 competition.
Scoil Muire na Trocaire and Louth Village will now represent Ardee Credit Union in the next stage of the competition.
