Red Door workers open pop-up shop in The Dale

Support workers from the Red Door Project set up a pop-up shop in The Dale on Thursday to showcase their handmade crafts by selling garden planters, clay art, garden art and honey from their own beehives.

The Red Door Project participants maintain the Dale gardens on an ongoing basis and are delighted with the positive feedback from the community.

A support worker Orla commented “It’s a super way to highlight the work we do at the Red Door Project, we are a community led service and rely on donations and fundraising, all funds raised go directly to the programme and I see first-hand the difference it can make.”

The pop-up shop was a great success, and the plan is to continue running them throughout the summer.

Hazel, another CE participant at The Red Door Project which supports and advocates on behalf of people fighting addiction said: “It’s great to show the positive work we do in the community.”
