Public invited to visit Drogheda’s new Alzheimer’s Centre before it opens

After more than two decades of planning and fundraising Drogheda’s new Alzheimer’s Day Care Centre is now built and ready to take in its first clients.

Before they do so however, the committee has decided to open the doors to members of the public to say thank you for their tremendous kindness and support and that of many local businesses and organisations.

Before they admit their first clients to attend day care services, the Drogheda Alzheimer Committee have decided to invite the people of Drogheda to visit the new centre.

“It is only through the support and generosity of so many that we have been able to make this dream a reality” said Committee Chairman Gerry Leydon.

“We plan to open the day centre for the general public who wish to visit on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th April.

“We will separately be planning an official opening event at a later date.”

The address of the new centre is: Tredagh Lodge Day Care Centre, Newtown Link Road, Greenhills, Drogheda, Co. Louth. A92 PYV9

The entrance is off the Newtown Link Road, down and across from The Mill Enterprise Centre.
