An exciting exhibition of art by four artists based in the Drogheda area will take place in the Drogheda Cultural Quarter in May.
The exhibition, at the Boyne Room, Governor’s House Millmount, opens tomorrow, Friday, May 5.
It will feature works by Yasmina Fleur du Mal who is a French artist living in Ireland since she finished her studies in the History of Art and Drawings.
In her early years Yasmina exhibited in France creating records covers, books, and illustrations in Irish magazines.
Nadine Wood is from Ireland and is a well-known Iocal artist. Her passion for artisticcreation ignited many years ago from a desire to express the beauty and splendour of nature.
Maria Viwanco has been passionate about painting since she was two years old. She studied Art and Fashion design in University in Ecuador and since then has grown as an artist.
Celine Stevenson is a local artist and curator who grew up in Dublin near Harry Clark’s studios and the Hugh Lane Gallery. Mesmerised by the woks on display.
Together with drawings and paintings in oils she loves the diversity that printmaking and etching offers for self-expression, with a particular interest in trees.
