Drogheda businessman Edward McCloskey won the prestigious EY Irish Entrepreneur of the Year Award
The founder and chairman of WaterWipes also collected the International Award for creating and building a Global brand.
He is the son of the late Malachy McCloskey who was the original founder and owner of Boyne Valley Foods. Edward is now chairman of the family business which employs over 600 people worldwide.
Edward started waterwipes on his own fifteen years ago and built it up from nothing to become a market leader in North America and indeed around the world.The product is made at two factories here in the town.
