The Loving Life Choir was honoured to perform at a special event celebrating the life and legacy of the founder of the Medical Missionaries of Mary, Mother Mary Martin.
This month marks the 50th anniversary of Mother Mary’s passing, and the Choir’s heartfelt performance was a fitting tribute to her vision of compassion and hope.
Led by Music Director Jade Quinn and Founder and Choir Manager Ken O’Heiligh, the Choir captivated the audience with their soulful rendition of This Little Light of Mine, a song that perfectly embodies the spirit of hope and unity Mother Mary Martin championed.
But it wasn’t just about the music. The MMM Sisters made the young Choir members feel truly welcome.
“The Sisters were so full of praise for the Choir—from our name, ‘Loving Life,’ to the songs we sing,” said Ken O’Heiligh. “Their kindness has given our young singers a renewed sense of confidence and belief in themselves.”
“Moments like this bring the Choir closer together,” added Music Director, Jade Quinn. “It’s a reminder of the incredible impact music can have, not just on an audience but on those who perform it.”
The Choir now turns its focus to their upcoming film production, ‘Breaking the Silence’, an anti-bullying project that promises to carry forward their message of resilience and hope.
For the Loving Life Choir, this performance was more than just a tribute, it was an inspiring milestone that reinforced their mission to make a difference through music.
