Louth County Council Temporary Closure of Road – Blackrock

Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its intention to close; 

Blackrock road between Hardys Lane and Rock Road to vehicular traffic to facilitate Irish Water connecting a new drinking water supply.                                                                                              

The extent of the road closure will be from the junction of Hardys Lane to the junction of Rock Road. 

The road closure will be for a duration of not more than 5 days in the period from 8.00am Monday 7^th August to 5.00pm on Friday 11^th August 2023. 

Local access will be maintained at all times. 

Diversions for traffic will be via R172 onto R132 leading to Greengate’s

Crossroad to navigate around Blackrock Road.
