TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
Section 75 Roads Act, 1993
(Roads Regulations 1994)
Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its decision to close R168 at Nursery Cross to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to facilitate the upgrade of existing road surface to Hot Rolled Asphalt as part of the Louth Low Cost Safety Scheme 2023.
The extent of the road closure on the R168 will be from the junction with Old Mellifont Road on the Southern side of Nurserys Cross to Drumgooles Cross on the Northern side.
The road closure will be in place for a duration not more than 3 consecutive days total (weekdays) in the period from 7.00 am on Monday 30th October to 6:30 pm on Friday 17th November 2023.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Diversions for traffic will be via Old Mellifont Road.
