Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its decision to close; Blackrock Road between Hardy’s Lane and Rock Road to vehicular traffic to facilitate Irish Water connecting a new drinking water supply.
The extent of the road closure will be from the junction of Hardy’s Lane to the junction of Rock Road.
The road closure will be for a duration of not more than 5 days in the period from 8.00 am Monday 7th August to 5.00 pm on Friday 11th August 2023.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Diversions for traffic will be via R172 onto R132 leading to Greengate’s Crossroad to navigate around Blackrock Road.
