Louth County Council has launched its new Customer Hub, an online platform designed to make it easier for the public to report issues, request services, and make payments all in one place.
The Customer Hub provides a single online account through which users can access a growing range of the Council’s 1,100+ services in a more streamlined, efficient and user-friendly way.
Accessible 24/7, the platform enables customers to submit requests and queries online, track progress in real time, receive faster responses and reduce the need for phone calls and emails.
Louth County Council handles an average of 17,000 customer enquiries each month, and the Customer Hub will help manage this demand more efficiently while improving response times.
Members of the public can now easily report local issues such as potholes, pay parking fines, and submit service requests through this simple, centralised system.
Developed to support the needs of the public, elected members and council staff, the new system replaces Louth County Council’s previous customer management platform and represents a significant step forward in how services are delivered.
Additional features will be introduced on an ongoing basis as the platform evolves.
Cllr Seán Kelly, Cathaoirleach of Louth County Council, said: “This is a very positive development for the people of Louth. The new Customer Hub will make it easier for people across the county to access services and engage with the Council in a more convenient and accessible way and reflects our ongoing commitment to improving how we serve the public.”
David Conway, Chief Executive of Louth County Council, said: “The launch of the Customer Hub is a key milestone in modernising our service delivery. It reflects Louth County Council’s core values of being innovative and citizen-centred and forms part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing digital services and improving customer experience.”
