Drogheda is set to host the second Impact Leadership Conference, bringing together public and private sector leaders for a one day event focused on growth, influence, and representation.
Following the success of its first Drogheda edition, the conference returns in 2026, further strengthening the town’s reputation as a centre for leadership, innovation and inclusive growth.
Organised by the not for profit Taysey Leadership Network, the Impact Leadership Conference will take place on Saturday, February 28th, 2026, from 11.00am at the Boyne Valley Hotel on the Dublin Road in Drogheda.
This year’s theme, ACCELERATE: 10x Growth Strategies for Global Influence, will explore leadership, governance, enterprise and community impact through practical insights and shared experience from an experienced and diverse group of speakers.
The 2026 speaker line up includes local elected representatives Cllr Michelle Hall, Cllr Eric Donovan, Cllr Anne-Marie Ford and Cllr Declan Power, alongside senior leaders and executives including Angela Cox, Andrea O’Grady, David McGahey, Ola Omotosho, Princess King, Pierre Yimbog and Oladayo Oduola. Together, they represent leadership across local government, business, entrepreneurship, sustainability, inclusion and civic engagement.
The conference will be hosted by Seyi Agbede, leadership strategist and founder of Taysey Leadership Network, who has delivered leadership programmes and conferences across Ireland, the UK and the United States.
Bringing the Impact Leadership Conference back to Drogheda for a second edition is intentional, said Agbede. There is strong leadership energy here. This conference creates a rare space where public servants, business leaders and emerging professionals can learn from one another, challenge perspectives and leave with tools that translate directly into impact.
The event is designed to be highly accessible and will be free to attend, with the option to join either in person or online via Zoom and YouTube, allowing for both local and international participation.
Attendees can expect real world leadership insights from elected representatives and senior executives, practical strategies for career acceleration and business growth, cross sector networking opportunities, and conversations centred on representation, influence and long term impact. The programme also aims to provide clear, actionable frameworks that participants can apply immediately.
