History, nature and much more at Boyne Valley Trails Walking Festival

The 2023 Boyne Valley Trails September Walking Festival will take place from the 18^th to the 24^th of September in Drogheda and the surrounding Boyne Valley Region.

The festival will include a programme of walks and evening presentations guided by the dedicated and experienced Boyne Valley Trails team leaders.

*Des Grant takes on the character of John Jameson as he leads guests through the streets of Drogheda to tell the fascinating story of how Jameson built a world empire with his whiskey.*

Inviting walking enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers and tourists to experience what the Boyne Valley has to offer, this year’s festival will feature a variety of walks dedicated to History, Nature, Mythology and Nordic Walking there is something for everyone.

Drogheda, Co Louth is easily accessible by car, train and bus from both Dublin and Belfast city centres.
