Rallentando: Capturing the Unhurried Past
Artist’s Opening Talk – Saturday 10th February at 2:30pm
Dundalk-born, emerging artist Juliette Morrison’s exhibition, Rallentando: Capturing the Unhurried Past opens next Saturday February 10th at 2:30pm in the Highlanes Gallery.
A micro-exhibition by this London-based painter and musician, Juliette, opens with an informal talk in the Upper Gallery.
Imagined as a multi-sensory exploration, including antiques, a curated China tea set, personally knitted artefacts, the immersive exhibition will incorporate live music performances features documentation of Salon music by composers such as Chopin and Mendelssohn.
Juliette is also a member of Highlanes Gallery’s Young People’s Panel.
Booking is free, however spaces are limited.

The exhibition opening takes the form of an informal artists’ talk with John Van Oers, Helen O’Leary, Niamh Clarke, Seamus Quinn, Hiroyuki Hamada and David Quinn from 3.15pm next Saturday 10th February at 3.15pm, with the exhibition open from 3pm
Lucent is supported by an Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon Touring Award initiated and led by Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre and will continue to Wexford Arts Centre, June to August, 2024.
