The Drogheda Motor Show returns to Laurence Street next Saturday, October 23rd, and this year the theme of the event is ‘Evolution of the Motor Car in Drogheda’, a fascinating look back over 120 years of motoring in the town.
Sixty new and shiny motor vehicles from 15 manufacturers will be parking up on the pedestrianised street for the day and there’ll be plenty more happening besides.
The 2021 Drogheda Motor Show participating Motor Dealers are: Brian Reynolds Car Sales (Mazda & Fiat), Blackstone Motors (Renault, Dacia and Opel), Jack Doran Motors (Kia & Citroen), Western Motors (Volkswagen & Skoda), Malones Toyota Drogheda (Toyota), Windsor Drogheda Peugeot (Peugeot), Smiths of Drogheda (Ford & Ford Commercial Vehicles), Colm Quinn BMW Drogheda (BMW), and John McCabe Nissan (Nissan).
“This is a very special event for our town, now in it’s 11th year. It’s wonderful to see the local Motor Industry, Louth County Council and the Laurence Street Businesses and Traders working so well together to deliver it” said Drogheda & District Chamber President, Robert Murray.
“There’ll be colour, fun, music and lots of new technologies to explore on the street this Saturday. Get down to Laurence Street and enjoy the electric atmostphere planned!” he continued.
The only award-winning motor show in Ireland, it offers buyers the chance to get expert advice on car features, ideal family cars, travel, energy consumption and much more. It is the ideal place to visit if you’re thinking about or considering buying a new car.
With the 221 registration plate coming out in January 2022, there will be special finance offers available too.
The 2021 Drogheda Motor Show is supported by First Citizen Finance, Drogheda & District Chamber, Society of the Irish Motor Industry, LHK Group, Louth County Council and the Laurence Street Businesses and Traders. The Electric Mobility Partner is SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland).
On the day also, the very popular Cottage Market Drogheda, headed up by Eimear Cullen, will be running a special motor show event to celebrate the occasion at their regular venue at the top of Peter Street.
