The annual commemoration remembering Ireland’s hunger strikers will take place Saturday 2nd September, assembling at 2.30pm in the car park beside The Holy Family church, Ballsgrove, Drogheda.
The speaker this year is former blanket man and hunger striker Laurence McKeown, Belfast’s Éire Nua republican flute band will be in attendance with local Sinn Fein councillor Joanna Byrne chairing the proceedings. All are welcome.
