Drogheda LGBTQ Support and Social Group have announced the dates for Drogheda Pride 2021.
Members of the Group have been very busy during lockdown with various workshops and weekly Support Zooms.
Organiser Peter Nugent told Drogheda Life that they are “super excited” to announce that Drogheda LGBTQI Pride 2021 over the weekend of 30th July to 1st August 2021.
Peter said that no specific events or artistes had been announced as yet because the level of restrictions on those dates are as yet still unknown so they are currently planning a Virtual Pride.
Peter did say that the themes of this year’s Drogheda Pride is “Staying safe” and “positivity”.
“We are looking forward to bringing some big names to Drogheda including some of our very own Drogheda Drag Queens” he added.
“At the moment our team is at the stage of getting everything down on paper before the reveal of our special Guests”.
