Drogheda Cuidiu Breastfeeding Group celebrated National Breastfeeding Week last week with a party for local Mums and their babies in the St. Peters Church of Ireland Parish Hall.
National Breastfeeding Week is an opportunity to celebrate all Breastfeeding parents and supporters of Breastfeeding. The Drogheda group used it as a means of celebrating the mothers who attend our group.
Altogether some 27 parents and babies and the Drogheda team enjoyed Cuidiu cupcakes and treats with their tea. Local businesses kindly provided hampers and vouchers and some lucky Mums won these lovely prizes in a raffle.
Drogheda Breastfeeding Group meets every Thursday morning from 10- 11.30 in St. Peters COI parish Hall, top of Peter Street Drogheda.
All Breastfeeding, or hoping to Breastfeed, parents and family members are welcome.
