The Drogheda Implementation Board has announced a new €125k stream of funding to be made available to community groups in the Drogheda – East Meath (Laytown/Bettystown) area.
The Board secured an additional €100,000 in dormant accounts funding for 2023 and are allocating all of this plus an additional €25,000 to the fund.
This brings the total available to local groups for innovative projects and initiatives that respond to issues identified in the Geiran Report or actions in the Drogheda Report Implementation Plan to €125,000.
To give as many groups as possible the opportunity to access this funding €50,000 has been ringfenced for small grants of €2,000 – €5,000, with a maximum grant of €20,000.
The fund will open for applications next Monday, 27th February and close at 5pm on Friday 31st March.
Further information, application form and guidance notes are available on the Drogheda Implementation Board website.
An online information session will be held on Monday 13th March at 2pm and places for this can also be booked on the website.
