The Drogheda Cycling Group, which has been campaigning and lobbying for improved cycling infrastructure in the town, is holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday and members of the public, cyclists or not, are welcome.
The Group’s AGM is taking place on Thursday 29th of June at 8 PM in the Barbican. The event will see the election of the officer board for the year ahead and a review of the group’s activities for the year just passed.
Chairperson Noel Hogan said:
“We are a grassroots organisation which was established to promote Active Travel and access for all in Ireland’s largest town. Anyone who lives in Drogheda and who has witnessed the traffic congestion in the town will understand why promoting alternatives to car use is vital. If you want to make Drogheda a safer, cleaner and healthier town to live, work and travel around for people of all ages then we would love to hear from you at our AGM”.
