The multi-award-winning Drogheda Brass Band is recruiting for a new class of beginner students.
This is your chance to learn how to read music in a fun, group environment. Learn a skill for life that will help children establish a base for taking music as a subject in State exams in secondary school.
With free instrument rental and all music supplied, it’s a very low-cost way to begin your musical journey.
The band is looking for children aged eight and above to start ths new class this November.
Under conductor Stephen Murray, the band heads to Ennis this weekend for a joint concert with Ennis Brass Band before a busy Christmas schedule of events includes the Christmas lights switch-on on West Street and the Oldbridge Christmas Fair.
