Talks between Drogheda Credit Union and Progressive Credit Union regarding a possible transfer of engagements which were announced some weeks ago have come to an end and the proposed transfer will not now be happening.
In an announcement issued last night, the two Drogheda Credit Unions said:
Drogheda Credit Union and Progressive Credit Union can confirm that preliminary discussions regarding a potential Transfer of Engagements will not be progressing further.
This mutual decision was reached following careful consideration and is in the best interests of the members of both credit unions.
Both credit unions remain committed to serving their members and communities with the highest standards of service and support, and we thank all stakeholders for their engagement and understanding throughout this process.
