Drogheda Credit Union’s Mortgage Masterclass which took place last week in the D Hotel Drogheda, was a sold-out event attended by people in the market for a Mortgage.
We are all aware that the current housing market can feel like a battle for first-time buyers and those looking to upgrade but the credit union panel certainly left everyone feeling, “all is not lost” as Drogheda Credit Union is a real viable option for getting on that first rung of the property ladder.
“This is because Credit Union rates are coming in better than a lot of other financial institutions and they aren’t tied into the ECB, a huge plus for anyone considering a mortgage” said Spokesperson Mark Smith.

Mark Smith also made the point that with Drogheda Credit Union, “You don’t need to have your property picked out before you get approval in principle. We also endeavour to have a response to you in 2/3 weeks, while with some banks you can be waiting months to get approval in principle”.
