Bus Éireann is advising passengers that its Drogheda town services are impacted today by Covid-related absences.
“Town services D1 / D2 / D4 and D5 will run at a reduced frequency of half-hourly intervals and we recommend customers to check buseireann.ie for the latest service updates” a spokesperson said.
There are also some minor service cancellations on some commuter routes to Dublin, including on the 101 between Drogheda and Dublin and the 190 service between Trim and Drogheda.
“Bus Éireann regrets the inconvenience to customers and would ask that you bear with us as we work through these challenges. Service impacts are regularly updated on buseireann.ie.
“Bus Éireann follows all Government guidelines regarding ongoing measures to address Covid concerns and has robust mitigation measures in place, including hand sanitising units available on-board and in stations, touchpoint cleaning during the day and deep cleaning of buses overnight, as well as reminders to leave windows open.
“We also remind passengers to wear masks throughout their journey and in bus stations and compliance continues to be extremely high.
