Cottage Market Drogheda celebrating six years of trading

The Cottage Market Drogheda are celebrating six years of trading this Saturday (March 5) in St Peters COI Parish Hall Drogheda 11-4pm.

“The Cottage Market crew are so thrilled to continue to provide our town with a space to Shop local and support local makers” said organiser Eimear Cullen, “we have weathered the storm that is Covid and have come out stronger.

“Our Christmas Cottage Market at Scotch Hall was a huge success and we are so grateful for all the support our town gave us over the weekend of 11th and 12th of Dec.

“We were blown away by people’s positivity and reaction to our event and we now wish to invite all to our home across the Boyne in St Peters COI Parish Hall Drogheda to celebrate our sixth Birthday.

“We are delighted to host over 30 local Makers of home grown, homemade and handcrafted delights on the day.

“We will have an electric mix of stalls – everything from organic fruit and veg, baked goods, Indian street food, honey, cheese, bespoke art, jewellery, craft, candles, books and vinyl.

“We are delighted to host multiple award winning cafe Rocksalt in their 1960’s restored Citroën HY food truck who will Sponsor our sixth birthday competition ‘Lunch at The Cottage’ check out our social media platforms for details. We will also have live music on the day by the amazing local trio Bagabones.

“The Cottage Market has become the place to Shop locally for unique gifts, stock up on fab food, meet up with friends and grab a bite to eat.

“We would also wish to thank our supporters AWS In communities, Drogheda Credit Union and the Dormant accounts fund and DRC.”
