A successful series of photography workshops facilitated by Karen Smith at the Ballsgrove Youth Club came to a conclusion recently with a special exhibition and awards ceremony.
“During the workshops, I had the pleasure of working with a group of talented and enthusiastic young individuals” Karen said.
“Together, we explored various aspects of photography, including composition, lighting, and storytelling through images. The participants showed great dedication and a genuine eagerness to learn and improve their skills.”

The workshops were held in a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone felt comfortable expressing themselves and experimenting with different techniques.
“It was truly inspiring to witness the growth and development of each participant as they embraced their creativity and discovered their unique photographic style.
The exhibition showcased the incredible talent and artistic vision of the youth club members. Each photograph told a captivating story, capturing moments and emotions that resonated with the viewers.

“The certificate ceremony was a heart-warming celebration of the participants’ accomplishments” Karen said. As each certificate was presented, I could see the pride and joy radiating from their faces. It was a beautiful moment to witness, knowing that their hard work and dedication had been acknowledged and appreciated.
“I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to My Streets Ireland for providing the opportunity to facilitate these workshops.
