Boyne Valley Camino signage to be unveiled at Tullyallen

Tullyallen’s ‘Access the Glen Committee’ have issued an open invitation to the unveiling of a new Boyne Valley Camino Map Sign in Tullyallen this weekend.

“This sign designed by the  Boyne Valley Camino group and specifically Caoimhe Mulroy of  Once Upon Deisgn, Drogheda, was made up by our almost local company Omega Signs in Barabona, Collon” said Ann Carolan, the Secretary of Tullyallen Access the Glen Committee.

“The unveiling of this will take place at the bottom of the hill, adjacent to the school, just in front of King William’s Glen at 1.45 pm on Saturday 23rd July.

“We have asked local resident Mr Dick Cheevers to unveil this sign.  Dick was an integral part of the Belnumber Walkway Project and without his generosity, we simply could not have completed this link that has allowed the wonderful Boyne Camino to travel through Tullyallen Village.

“We have arranged this event to coincide with the North East Cancer Research and Education Trust Camino Walk which will pass through the village around this time.

“We would be delighted if you could come along and help us celebrate this addition to the village.”
