John Wheatley of the Aisteoiri Na Boinne Drama Group popped in to the Tredagh Lodge Day Care Centre yesterday with a cheque for €1,300 to help with the fine work being done by the local Branch of the Alzheimer’s Society.
“It was lovely to welcome some of the members of Aisteoiri Na Boinne to our new centre today” said Ann Shortt.
“We have been so lucky to have been one of the charities who benefit each year from their amazing comedies.
John Wheatley presented Ann with a cheque for €1,300.
“It’s so nice to be able to show off the centre to some of the people who have helped to fundraise over the years. They have raised great money for local charities over the years.”
