Drogheda Classical Music Announces Blockbuster 2025/26 Season

Drogheda Classical Music has unveiled its new season, promising to bring world-class talent to the town from September 2025 to April 2026.

The season features a stellar lineup, including the RTÉ Concert Orchestra, New York Times-acclaimed pianist Daniel Lebhardt, and star soprano  Claudia Boyle.

The 2025/26 season opens with a bang on Friday, 12th September, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra’s first time playing at the Drogheda Classical Music series 

Virtuoso violinist and orchestra leader Mia Cooper will direct a vibrant programme featuring works by Haydn, Vivaldi, Rossini, and Schubert.

Artistic Director Dr. Gavan Ring expressed his pride in the new programme, calling it “our most exhilarating season yet.”

He added that the season celebrates brilliance across genres and generations and looks forward to welcoming audiences back to St Peter’s Church of Ireland.

The season includes a wide range of performances:

17th October 2025: Cellist  Gabriel Francis-Dehqani and pianist  William Harmer perform works by Schumann, Liszt, and Price.

14th November 2025:  Acclaimed Irish pianist  Rowel  Friers, fresh from triumphs in New York, presents a solo recital.

11th December 2025: The international duo of  Ben  Baker and  Daniel Lebhardt return with a European programme.

23rd January 2026:  Irish opera sensation  Claudia Boyle joins baritone Seán Boylan and pianist Dearbhla Collins for a thrilling Opera Gala.

20th February 2026: Dr. Gavan Ring and pianist Fiachra Garvey perform Vaughan Williams’ Songs of Travel.

10th March 2026:  The acclaimed  Piatti Quartet returns to Drogheda with works by Brahms, Charlotte Harding, and DvoÅ™ák. 

10th April 2026:  Saxophonist  Trish Clowes and pianist  Ross Stanley close the season with a genre-blending programme of jazz and classical music.

All concerts take place at St Peter’s Church of Ireland in Drogheda at 7:30 PM, with a pre-concert talk at 7:00 PM.
