Step into Autumn: Boyne Valley Trails Festival Returns to Drogheda

If you like walking, then the Drogheda area is the place to be this Autumn.
 
The very successful Boyne Valley Trails is back and will run from September 14 to 21 next.
 
It is organised by one of the founders of the Drogheda Camino Dusty Flanagan in conjunction with Love Drogheda and Failte Ireland.
 
The Festival will include a series of guided walking tours, hikes, trails and evening talks delving into the history, mythology and nature of the Boyne Valley.
 
Tour guide Dusty said Beaulieu Estate and Gardens is one of the most popular tours they do and walkers can enjoy the wonderful House itself, the walks on the estate plus the amazing gardens.
 
The Beaulieu estate walk on September 14 takes in the whole area of Newtownstalaban, an area full of history,nature and wildlife and lasts three and a half hours. 
 
Walkers please note that no dogs are allowed except Guide Dogs.
 
The Gates of Beaulieu House will open at 9.30am and the walk will start at 10am finishing at 1.30pm.Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.
