Fourteen people are waiting for beds in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital after the bank holiday weekend
They are being treated on trolleys in the emergency department.
Â
The figures were released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation Trolley Watch team.
Â
There are currently 428 admitted patients waiting for beds in hospitals across the country this morning.Â
Â
The INMO said 277 patients are waiting in the emergency departments while 151 are in wards elsewhere in the hospitals.
Â
There is a surge in patients waiting for beds every bank holiday weekend because of a lack of medical staff on duty over the three weekend days.Â
