The Blue Belles will bring their blend of vintage swing and modern pop to Droichead Arts Centre on 25th July, with the performance raising funds for a new local theatre production.
The trio combines close three-part harmony with reworked versions of some of the biggest songs from the past 40 years, drawing inspiration from acts including The Andrews Sisters and Postmodern Jukebox.
The group features Kerry Ann Sheridan, Carly Coonagh and West End performer Susan McFadden, who is also known for her work with Grammy-nominated group Celtic Woman.
Their performances mix classic swing sounds with colourful vintage styling and a lively stage presence.
The Drogheda show will support The Little Duke Theatre’s upcoming production of After Pinocchio, an original theatrical collaboration with The Red Door Project in Drogheda.
The production is supported by Droichead Arts Centre and funded by the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport through the Creative Ireland Programme.
The Blue Belles will perform at Droichead Arts Centre at 8pm on 25th July.
