LOUTH COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF ROAD
Section 75 Roads Act, 1993
(Roads Regulations 1994)
Louth County Council hereby gives notice of its decision to close the under mentioned road
to public vehicular traffic from 05.30am to 14.00 pm on 1 st of February 2026 to facilitate the
Dundalk 10k Half Marathon.
Francis Street (R215)
The extent of the road closure will be from its junction with Crowe St(R215) to its junction
with The Magnet Road (R215) at a length of 321m.
Description of Diversion route is as follows:
Diversion route will be heading westbound on Seatown Place (R172) South via
Jocelyn Drive (L 20014) and westwards on Ramparts Road (L20051)
