Saturday, 7th February 2026, will once again host a showcase of activities for children and young people in Drogheda, organised by the SICAP Network of Youth Services for Drogheda. The event will take place from 2pm to 5pm at the Barbican Centre.
Youth Connect Fest aims to link young people with the wide range of activities, clubs, services, supports, and opportunities available in Drogheda. Sports, dance, art, music, scouting, and other activities will be on display, alongside entertainment and a fashion show.
Organised by the SICAP Network of Youth Services for Drogheda and facilitated by Louth Local Development’s Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme (SICAP) team, the event supports the wellbeing, education, and advocacy of young people in the community.
Now in its third year, the event has received excellent feedback from participating clubs and organisations. Last year, over 2,000 people attended, giving groups the opportunity to showcase their work, boost confidence and self-esteem, and attract new members and volunteers.
