Children invited to join the Summer Stars reading adventure!

Summer Stars is the public library national summer reading programme for children that runs from today, June14 until the end of August. All children are invited to join the adventure and to enjoy the fun and pleasure of reading and writing over the summer.

Summer Stars is non-competitive and every child who reads even one book/ebook is regarded as having completed the programme – and it’s all completely free!

Once you are a member of Louth Library Service, you can pop into your local branch in Drogheda, Dundalk, Ardee, Carlingford or Dunleer to pick up your Summer Stars Reading Card to track and log all the wonderful books you will get to read this summer!

Please keep an eye on Louth Libraries social media platforms (@LouthCountyLibraries) and https://www.louthcoco.ie/en/services/library/  for upcoming Summer Stars events and activities!

Don’t forget that as a library member you can access the BorrowBox App where you can Browse, borrow, read and listen to the Summer Stars collection of children’s e-books and e-audiobooks.

If you have any queries about Summer Stars please email libraryhelpdesk@louthcoco.ie or call your local library, we would be more than happy to help.
