Drogheda man launches podcast about mental health

Eoin O’Boyle is a 23 year old man from Drogheda, he runs a vape and CBD store in Southgate Shopping Centre and has recently started a podcast called ‘OB After Hours’ in which he discusses topics such as mental health, wellness and alternative therapies with his guests.

“As a 23 year old in Ireland I am well aware of the mental health problems we as a society face during such a horrific global pandemic, and that’s where my personal experiences with mental health will be brought up in the show” he says.

“I suffered from Anxiety, Depression and PTSD quite badly for years but thank God now I am completely content, I have a regimented routine in which I do several things to boost my mental health on a daily basis.

The goal of his podcast ‘OB After Hours’ is to give people free tools which they can apply to their own life to improve their mental health, and general wellness.

“My first podcast was recorded with John McKeown, a certified Wim Hof Instructor. We discuss how the method changed my life, the method itself, and John’s incredible story of how his wife beat cancer.”

Episode two will feature a chat about the impact of fame on mental health with Drogheda man Matthew Nolan, a member of the band Since September who won the Little Mix ‘The Search’.

OB After Hours is now listed on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Youtube and all major platforms.
