Applications sought for LMETB’s Community Education Service

The LMETB’s Community Education Service delivers a wide range of educational courses to community groups and voluntary organisations.

The service prioritises individuals and groups who experience educational/social disadvantage or social exclusion and it is open for applications from community organisations offering suitable services.

Programmes are offered on a part-time basis in non-formal community based settings. The courses are intended to provide personal and skills development for group members.

The Service invites community groups to submit an application for tuition hours throughout the year.

If successful, LMETB’s Community Education Service provides tutors and materials to the groups.

Examples of courses completed recently by groups include: Cooking on a budget, arts and crafts, digital photography, mindfulness and yoga.
